Burn Mode - Legacy
Burn Mode® makes fasting not suck. Perfectly formulated to support your fast, not break it.
Start with 16:8. You eat within an 8-hour window — say noon to 8pm — and drink only water, coffee or tea the rest of the time. Most of that window is asleep, so it's less daunting than it sounds. It's where nearly everyone begins.
Give it two or three weeks before changing anything. The first few days are the hardest; if you push the window longer before your body has adjusted, you're far more likely to quit altogether.
Once 16:8 feels routine, people usually go one of two directions: longer daily windows (18:6 or one meal a day), or keeping a normal schedule most days and doing a single 24-hour fast each week. Neither is better — pick the one that fits your life.
Talk to your doctor first if you're pregnant or nursing, take medication, or manage a health condition.
Simply put:
Burn Mode® is what you take when the fast gets hard.
The technical version:
A pulsed-dose fasting formula built for the hours when adherence breaks down, roughly 14 to 20 in a daily window. Rather than one morning dose that's gone by noon, Burn Mode® is micro-dosed into single-serve sticks taken every two hours to hold a steady level across the window. Each stick carries lemon balm extract at the range used in human trials on calmness under stress, ginger for gastric comfort on an empty stomach, ACTIValoe® and alpha lipoic acid for healthy glucose already within the normal range, and 72 ionic sea minerals with magnesium and potassium to replace what fasting depletes.
During your fast:
- Supports your mood when you get hangry*
- Soothes discomfort from an empty stomach*
- Replaces magnesium, potassium and trace minerals that fasting depletes*
Long term benefits:
- Supports healthy blood glucose (just the right amount of sugar in your blood)*
- Supports liver function*
- Antioxidant support from AstaZine® astaxanthin and organic blueberry*
Tear one stick into 8–10 oz of cold water and drink. Take your first stick when the fast starts getting hard — usually around hour 12 to 14 — wait 2 hours after your first serving before taking another serving. Take as needed for the remaining duration of your fast. Not recommended to exceed 4 servings per day.

Burn Mode® is built for the second one.
BURN MODE®
Every ingredient is here for the hard part of the fast.
Lemon Balm Extract
Dosed to match the human trials on calmness under stress. The difference between white-knuckling hour 16 and just moving through it.
Ginger Extract
For the queasiness nobody warns you about — on an empty stomach, and again when you break the fast.
Z1-Minerals™
72 ionic sea minerals, plus magnesium and potassium. Fasting drains them fast. This puts them back, every two hours.
ACTIValoe® Qmatrix®
A patented aloe extract studied in randomized human trials for blood glucose already in the normal range. Steadier glucose is what sits underneath the cravings.
Alpha Lipoic Acid + LipoZome™
Delivered in small doses across the window instead of one morning spike — so the level holds when the wall usually hits.
AstaZine® Astaxanthin
A branded natural astaxanthin backed by human clinical studies, supporting the body through oxidative stress.

One stick. Every two hours. Through the hard part.
The easy part.
You don't need us yet. Water, coffee, whatever gets you through the morning. Save the sticks for when it counts.
One stick, every two hours.
Tear, pour into cold water, drink. Small doses that hold a level across the window instead of one hit in the morning that's gone by noon.
You finished.
Eat when you planned to, not two hours early. Ginger keeps the first meal from hitting a stomach that isn't ready for it.
Daily fast: one or two sticks through the back half. 24-hour fast: three or four, spaced across the day. Tear, pour into cold water, drink.
Why people fast, according to the studies.
Fasting has been studied in tens of thousands of people. Here's what the research actually found — including the parts that aren't settled.
Researchers pooled 99 separate clinical trials to ask whether fasting actually works. It does — and it works about as well as a traditional calorie-restricted diet. Fasting every other day came out slightly ahead of both regular dieting and other fasting styles. The takeaway: fasting is a legitimate approach, not a magic one. Pick the method you'll actually stick to.
Fourteen trials were combined to measure what fasting does to the body. Compared to people who didn't fast, fasters lost about 1.8 kg of body weight and 1.26 kg of that was fat. Waist circumference dropped 1.19 cm. Blood pressure came down too — about 2 points systolic. Modest numbers, but consistent across studies.
This analysis compared the three main fasting methods head to head — alternate day fasting, the 5:2 diet, and time-restricted eating like 16:8. All three worked, producing body weight reductions between 1% and 13% over periods ranging from two weeks to a full year. Alternate day fasting ranked highest for weight loss.
Nine trials covering 899 participants found fasting significantly reduced body weight, BMI and body fat — plus three markers doctors actually care about: insulin resistance, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides. These are the numbers on a standard blood panel that predict long-term metabolic health.
mTOR is the cellular switch that tells your body to build rather than repair. When it's active, cleanup pauses. This study measured it directly in human muscle tissue and found fasting cut mTOR signalling roughly in half, with the autophagy marker LC3B-II rising about 30%. Worth noting: a second marker in the same study moved the wrong way, so the authors called the result difficult to interpret. The pathway responds — the full picture isn't clear yet.
Metabolic flexibility is your ability to switch between burning fat and burning sugar. It's measured on a scale from 0.7 (pure fat) to 1.0 (pure sugar). Fasted, a healthy person sits near 0.80. People with insulin resistance sit higher — still burning sugar when there isn't any coming. Fasting drives your body toward the fat-burning end. Researchers still debate whether poor fuel-switching causes metabolic problems or results from them.
What the research hasn't shown.
Longevity. Fasting extends lifespan in worms, flies and mice — reliably, across decades of research. The human version of that study would need thousands of people followed for forty years, and nobody has funded it. That's a gap in the research, not a verdict. The mechanism is there. The trial isn't.
Autophagy. Cellular cleanup is real enough to have won a Nobel Prize in 2016. In humans, fasting cuts mTOR signalling roughly in half — mTOR is the switch that keeps cleanup turned off, and fasting flips it. What's hard is measuring what happens next, because it requires tissue samples rather than a blood draw. The pathway responds. The full picture is still being built.
Why the gap exists. Nobody profits from a forty-year fasting trial. There's no drug to patent at the end of it. So the field runs on mechanism and animal outcomes, and will for a while yet.
What we're comfortable saying. Fasting works for weight, blood sugar and cardiovascular markers — that part is settled across tens of thousands of people. The longevity and cellular case is promising and incomplete. We'd rather draw that line ourselves than have you find it somewhere else.
